My husband Neil testified to the committee's paranoia about "bikers carrying guns." He reminded the committee that permitted guns and their owners are scrutinized by the state patrol. The committee voted to pass the bill 7-1. Later we learned that it flew through the House 96-2. It was not on the dockette for the Senate and was dropped by Chairman Adam Kline (D). Is he up for re-election this November??? He is from the 37th district. How about working on voting him out - might that send a message??? Just a thought.
