The helmet bills are in and have bill numbers, SB 5143 and HB 1246.  They will be on the Monday introduction sheets, so if you have a representative who still wishes to get on as a sponsor make sure that they get the information.  They can still sign on electronically.
A big “tip of the lid” to all of the riders who showed up and walked the halls on Thursday.  They made some of the connections, let me bootleg in on their appointments, and help close the deal to get several of the signatures on these bills.  Also a big “tip of the lid” to Donnie “Mr. Breeze” Landsman and the other members of ABATE of Washington who did the ground work to bring everyone to the Capitol, along with Paul and Scott, who were walking the halls with the other bills while I was working on traffic signals and commute trip reduction.
Until next time,

Ride safely and legislate well,
